SERBIA GRAND TOUR 10 days / 9 nights
Day 1. Arrival Belgrade, airport.
Transfer from the Vinci Nikola Tesla airport.
Check-in at the 4 stars hotel.
Overnight.
Day 2. BELGRADE
After breakfast, sightseeing city tour (Panoramic tour, combination of coach and walking tour). Start the tour visiting Yugoslav History Museum and House of Flowers, memorial complex of Josip Broz Tito, political leader of Yugoslavia.
Panoramic tour will go on to Slavija Square, Saint Mark’s Church, Serbian National Parliament and White Palace, all to the Republic Square, the most central point of Belgrade surrounded with National Theatre and National Museum and a lot other monuments.
Dinner will be taken at authentic local restaurant in famous bohemian quarter of Skadarlija, in the downtown of Belgrade.
There you will enjoy dinner with live traditional music.
The restaurants are proud of their guest lists of worldwide reputable personages who have visited them over the decades.
The rumour has it, that Alfred Hitchcock was among the guests. The restaurants post photographs of their visits on the walls.
After dinner return to the hotel. Overnight.
Day 3. BELGRADE-KRUSEDOL-SREMSKI KARLOVCI-NOVI SAD-BELGRADE
After breakfast, departure to Vojvodina province with English speaking guide. Visit Krusedol monastery, which construction from the 15th centery, visiting baroque town of Sremski Karlovci and enjoy the short walk through the city.
Seightseeing of the most monumental building of the 19th century in Vojvodina, Saborna church.
Visit of the Museum of beekeeping and winery Zivanovic. Honey and wine tasting. There you could learn more about the production of honey and wine and will have opportunity to taste one of the most famous wine in region Bermet, served on Titanic ship.
Proceed to Novi Sad, European Capital of Culture in 2022.
Lunch at local restaurant on the Danube river.
Afterward, proceed to the symbol of Novi Sad, fortification which acquired its present appearance in the 18th century.
Free time to the city center.
Optional dinner at local restaurant.
Trip back to Belgrade. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4. BELGRADE-GOLUBAC-LEPENSKI VIR-DJERDAP GORGE-BELGRADE
After breakfast, departure to Golubac Fortress, short photo stop. Golubac Fortress, probably the most beautiful medieval building and a very attractive tourist attraction is also known for one folk belief.
Continue to Lepenski Vir archeological site.
Lunch at Ethno village Captain Misha’s Hill with the best view on the Djerdap gorge.
Cruise along Djerdap gorge from Tekija to Kazani and back. Sail through the longest and deepest gorge in Europe where the Danube river is the most beautiful.
After 2 hours of cruise arrival to Tekia. (Due to limited capacity on boat for Danube cruise on Djerdap gorge, in case of unavailability, tickets will not be booked).
Transfer back to Belgrade.
En route optional dinner at local restaurant.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5. BELGRADE-RAVANICA-MANASIJA-LISINE WATERFALLS-KRALJEVO
After breakfast departure to Ravanica Monastery and Manasija Monastery. It is one of the most significant monuments of medieval Serbian culture.
Lunch en route.
Visit Natural park Lisine and waterfall. Continue trip to Kraljevo.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 6. KRALJEVO-ZICA-STUDENICA-NOVI PAZAR
After breakfast, visit Zica monastery (the 18th century), charitable foundation of Stefan Prvovencani. Proceed to visit Studenica Monastery from 12th century.
This Monastery is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Continue trip to Novi Pazar.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 7. NOVI PAZAR-MILESEVA-SIROGOJNO-ZLATIBOR
After breakfast, visit Mileseva monastery. This monastery safeguards some of the most valuable and most beautiful frescoes that were ever painted in Serbia.
By doing so they created unique pieces of art of unfading beauty, which will in the future make Mileševa and the famous “White Angel” known worldwide.
Lunch at local restaurant.
Proceed to ethno village Sirogojno, the unique open-air museum. If you ever wondered how life in the mountain village looked like in the 19th century, than this miraculous place near Zlatibor will definitely tickle your imagination.
Visit open-air museum as well as unique Sirogojno Knitter’s museum.
Namely, the products of the skilled hands of knitters from Zlatibor have found their place in the windows of the shops in Italy, France, Japan and the USA during 70’s..
Continue to Zlatibor.
Dinner and overnight.
Day 8. ZLATIBOR-GOSTILJE-STOPICA CAVE-ZLATIBOR
After breakfast, sightseeing of city center of Zlatibor and ride with Gold Gondola to Tornik.
Gold Gondola is the longest gondola (panoramic lift) in the World. New tourist attraction on Zlatibor mountain in Serbia.
During the ride 9000m route length, you will enjoy in 1496m top point.
On the last stop Tornik you will have short photo stop.
After photo stop ride with gondola to next stop Ribnicko Lake, long about 2000 meters.
Pearl of Zlatibor.
After short photo stop, return back with gondola to city center of Zlatibor.
Optional lunch.
Continue trip to Gostilje watrefalls and visit Stopica Cave.
Trip back to the hotel.
Dinner in hotel. Overnight.
Day 9. ZLATIBOR-UVAC-BELGRADE
After breakfast, departure to Zlatar mountain which is surrounded by rivers Lim, Uvac, Milesevska and Bistrica, and the highest peak is Golo Brdo (1627m).
It is declared as an air spa. Not far away from the mountain Zlatar, one could visit the canyon of the river Uvac, populated with the relict bird species in the Balkans – the griffon vulture. This natural reserve, being an ecological region for its scenery, clear water rich in fish.
Boat ride on the river Uvac.
Visit to the Ice cave and the national reserve Uvac.
Jeep safari.
Trip back to Belgrade. Overnight.
Day 10. BELGRADE – departure
After breakfast, free time till the departure to the airport. Transfer to the airport. End of program.

Due to limited capacity on boat for Danube cruise on Djerdap gorge, in case of unavailability, tickets will not be booked, the customer have to send us request in advance for ticket. Ticket price 20 EUR per person. In case will not be possible to book, we shall refund 20 Eur.
Upon visiting churches and monasteries you are required to act politely, not to laugh or raise your voice too loud or to use mobile phone while you are in the church or monastery. The dress code require a decent wardrobe upon enetering the churches and monasteries and does not allow shorts or mini-skirts. When entering, take your hat off.
