MONTENEGRO COAST CULTURE AND LEISURE
Day 1. – Arrival on the airport Dubrovnik – Budva (94 km – ca 90 – 120 min depending of season)
Arrival on the airport Podgorica – Budva (64 km – ca 60 min depending of season)
Day 2. – Excursion day – Budva- Cetinje / Budva – Krapina – Budva
After breakfast, we set off on our first excursion and tour of our little country Montenegro. We are separated by only 30 km and half an hour’s drive to our old capital and the cultural historical center of our country. Monasteries, Museums, Libraries, Theater, and over 10 old embassies from the past since 1878.
After visiting Cetinje we will went back to the hotel and have free time till dinner. When we will meet again, we will take a drive to a typical old coast village named Krapina to a fishfarm, where we will have our dinner in pure nature surroundin with, spring water / river, eco-garden etc.
Day 3. – Budva – Kotor – Perast – Budva
Today we will visit one of our well know old city on the montenegrian coast The old town of Kotor has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1979. The medieval town of Kotor is located at the very end of the Bay of Kotor. Late afternoon we will visit the Lady of the Rocks in Perast, one of the two islets off the coast of Perast in the middle of the Bay of Kotor. It is an artificial island created by bulwark of rocks and by sinking old and seized ships loaded with rocks.
Day 4. – Budva – Ostrog – Niksic – Risan – Budva
Today we will visit our most famous shrines in Montenegro, the Montenegrin sanctuary of the Ostrog Monastery. We will aproch the Monastery by taking mini buses to the Monestery in both directions. Later on we will take lunch downroad of the Monastery. Refreshed we continue our drive passing Niksic till Risan back again to the coast visiting the Roman mosaics in the coastal town of Risan.
Late afternoon drive back to Budva to our hotel.
Day 5. – Free for spa possibilities or swimming on the beach or just lessure and free time in old town Budva.
Day 6. – Budva- Rijeka Crnojevic – Virpazar Wine degustation – Budva
Drive from Budva to Rijeka Crnojevc (the first printing house in Montenegro appeared 39 years after the first printed book in the world). From Rijeka Crojevic we will take a boat/panorama drive over the Skadar lake till Virpazar.
On the boat we will get refreshing home made drinks as well as home made specialties from this area. As we are in the most popular wine area of Montenegro we will visit a small family winery, to as well as to taste it (lunch). Transfer back from Virpazar not more than 45 min and we will be back in our hotel on the coast.
Day 7. – Budva – Sveti Stefan – Petrovac / Budva – Krapina – Budva
Today we will have an easy, relaxing trip with a panoramic drive along the coast of the Budva Riviera the glamorous St. Stefan, which has been visited by world-famous stars, actors, princes…visiting further the coastal town Petrovac next to Sveti Stefan. After a nice relaxing morning trip we will turn back into the hotel. Free time till dinner time, when we will meet again to our known village Krapina where we will have a traditional folklore performance.
Day 8. – Budva – Tivat/Port of Montenegro-Kumbor/ Porto Novi – Herceg Novi
Today we are leaving the Riviera of Budva and we are moving to Herceg Novi the last city of Montenegro, close to the Croatia border and our airport on return back. On the way before we will visit Tivat / Porto Montenegro, it is one of the most luxurious marinas on the Adriatic, as well as the Porto Novi in Kumbor, pure luxery area…arriving in Herceg Novi – overnight.
Day 9. – Herceg Novi Zanjic Boat drive – beach – Herceg Novi
Relaxing day, boat panorama drive on the Riviera of Herceg Novi, beach Zanjic, lunch on the beach, swimming.
Day 10. – Transfer airport Dubrovnik
